The Hochkrimml skiing area if especially fun for families! Marvellous ski runs, a fun park, fairy tale meadow for the youngest, as well as one of many skimovie runs and a photopoint characterise the Hochkrimml skiing area. The connecting slopes to Königsleiten, Silberleiten make it renowned for its limitless skiing possibilities.
Next to the ski lift in Silberleiten there is a sports shop which hires out skis (Plattenkogel-Espress) www.patterer.info . There is also a ski school which offers supervision of children at lunchtime ww.skischule-gerolsplatte.at. A new service provided by INTERSPORT Patterer at a small fee is the ski depot. You can deposit your skiing equipment (helmets, sticks, shoes etc.) here directly after leaving the slopes, and collect them the next day dry and warmed for your new skiing day.

The latest snow fun activity in the Gerlosstein ski area is „snowtubing“. All winter fans can now try out this fun activity themselves on a specially prepared route with its own lift close to the top station of the Gerlossteinlift!
Floodlighted toboggan run – Filzsteinalm, natural toboggan run (1.5 km of pure tobogganing fun) illuminated daily until 9 p.m. Skido transfer Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Toboggan run in Hochkrimml: natural toboggan run from the Burgeck Hotel to the town centre, illuminated daily until 10 p.m. 0,8 km long
